Welcome!
PhoneFeeds.com is a 100% free service designed to allow you to read your favorite blogs using your existing mobile phone.
To create a "phone feed" simply enter the URL of your favorite blog, rss, rdf or atom feed below and click 'Go.'
How's it work?
PhoneFeeds.com converts rss, rdf or atom feeds into wap accessible content. If you've entered in the URL of your favorite blog, we'll try to "auto-discover" the corresponding rss, rdf or atom feed. If you've entered a feed url then we'll simply use your supplied URL as the source feed.
Once we have a valid feed, it is then converted into wap accessible content. To maximize compatibility with the greatest number of phones we'll try to determine the requesting device's capabilities and return the appropriate content.
PhoneFeeds.com currently supports:
- WML
- HDML
- i-modeTM
- MML
- XHTML Mobile Profile (WAP 2.0)
What about other mobile devices?
While PhoneFeeds.com was designed for mobile phones, PhoneFeeds.com supports the following handheld devices:
- AvantGo, PalmOS
- Pendragon, Windows CE
- ReqWireless, Windows CE
Please note, your mileage may vary.
What's in the future?
Thanks to the lovely HAWHAW class we're working towards a VoiceXML version. Check back for updates.
Special Thanks
